about this trail

Ralph's Pass Trail

Ralph’s Pass is a 2.7-mile one-way, moderate connector trail linking BSCO’s Uplands Trail to the Ousel Falls Trail system. Open seasonally from June 15 through October 15, this natural-surface, multi-use trail offers a quieter route through a mix of forested mountainsides and open grassy meadows.

Much of Ralph’s Pass travels through dedicated subdivision open space, preserving natural beauty while providing rolling terrain and expansive views of Lone Peak, Pioneer Mountain, and surrounding ridgelines. The trail flows through shaded forest sections before opening into meadows with big-sky views that define the area.

Whether you’re hiking, running, or biking, Ralph’s Pass serves as both a destination and a connector — offering a longer route option for those looking to link trail systems and explore beyond Ousel Falls or Uplands.
