Camp Big Sky Relocation and Community Campus Project

Camp Big Sky is finding a new home at the future Community Campus.
This space is located across the street from it’s current location, and will act as the home of Camp Big Sky throughout the summer and then be available to the community for private rental use throughout the year. Complete with bathrooms, three yurts, a pavilion, bike shelter and more, this space will be a community asset for all to enjoy — all year long!

Community Campus
Built by Big Sky, for Big Sky
For more than 20 years, Camp Big Sky has supported our community by providing generations of local children with a place to learn, explore, and build friendships during the summer months. Those humble spaces became the foundation for a beloved community program and reflected Big Sky's commitment to supporting local families.
As our community continues to welcome more families, residents, and year-round neighbors, the need for expanded opportunities has grown as well. The original campus served Camp Big Sky well for more than two decades, but it was time to create a space that could support the evolving needs of our community—not just in the summer, but throughout the entire year.
The new Community Campus is a transformational investment in the future of Big Sky.
Located within the renovated Community Park, the Campus creates a dedicated home for youth programming, community gatherings, recreation, education, and connection. Designed to be flexible and welcoming, it allows BSCO to expand beyond a seasonal camp facility and provide more opportunities for residents of all ages to gather, learn, play, and engage year-round.
This project is about more than new buildings and amenities. It is about creating a place where intentional community happens.
The Community Campus and Community Park renovation are the result of an incredible community-wide partnership. This vision became reality because residents, donors, local businesses, philanthropic foundations and public partners all came together with a shared belief that Big Sky deserves spaces that support the people who call it home.
From the beginning, this project has embodied the spirit of Big Sky taking care of Big Sky. It represents neighbors investing in neighbors, businesses investing in community, and generations of supporters coming together to create something that will outlast us all.
The Campus is a reflection of what happens when a community shares a vision and works together to bring it to life. It honors the legacy of those first two yurts and the hundreds of children who spent summers there, while opening the door to new possibilities for the future.
As Big Sky continues to grow, the Community Campus will provide a place for connection, recreation, learning, and belonging—a place where children can discover new passions, families can gather, and the entire community can come together.
Together, we didn't just build a new facility.
We built a foundation for the next generation of Big Sky.
